Clinique Lutetia - Aimless Music Vol. 1 (Korm Plastics - kp 17, cass, 1986 | CD-R, 1999) & Aimless Music Vol. 2 (BloedvlagProdukt, cass, 1986)

Duo from the northern parts of The Netherlands that released Aimless Music Volume 1 (1986) which was released on Korm Plastics and later reissued on CD-R (1999) and the second volume, released on BloedvlagProdukt also in 1986.

One member, Hille Kaper, was in Christ In Concrete project who left us one LP "The Raven" (rock sound presumably), furthermore, Kaper, under B.C. pseudonym, produced noisy "Fugit Hora" cassette; it was issued on CD-R after previously being released on cassette for Korm Plastics label.

Clinique Lutetia is also recorded on Wolfsangel compilation (Nihilistic Recordings) and New (Militairy) Music (Opus Dei Society) with Mario Marzidovšek behind it's artwork design (would love to see/hear this one).

All mentioned labels are Dutch and they are parent labels: Nihilistic Recordings + BloedvlagProdukt (Peter Zincken) and Korm Plastics + Opus Dei Society (Frans de Waard).
30 minutes of (identical, by mistake or not) excellent crude, industrial, noisy, manipulated sound, intro/outro of choir-like vocals and crumbs guitar overtones on Vol. 2. and nothing dissimilar on Vol. 1 (7 tracks).

Quiero presentaros esta cinta de  ECCITAZIONE CADAVERICA, una desconocida (al menos para mí) banda italiana de electrónica industrial. Por desgracia, la cinta no tiene ningún crédito, ninguna dirección de contacto ni fecha. Tampoco hay información en San Discogs Bendito, pero por lo que he leído por ahí, se supone que es de los primerísimos años 80. El sonido me ha parecido muy bueno: sintes distorsionados, ruido blanco y voces con delay, todo ello en tres pistas, una más larga, "Incubo 1977", que ocupa más de la mitad de un lado de la cassette C-46, luego "Urla di Cemento ", sin voces, pero con ruidos de radio, es la que rellena el resto de la cara A. En el otro lado sólo está el tema "Vomito di Morte", de unos diez minutos de duración. Personalmente lo considero un temazo, una pequeña obra maestra de la electrónica industrial italiana de los primeros 80.

WAHEHE - Poza Kontrola '85/'86 (rare live performance)

The fascination of music under the sign of the avant-garde, industrial achievements of The Residents, Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire, SPK etc. has led to the formation of the 5-person group. Music "WAHEHE" was a sound collage - formed with the help of acoustic instruments, electric, everyday objects and specially prepared tapes, which were an important part of the whole project. Wahehe is the first Polish industrial formation, which consciously used the iconography and the avant-garde concepts of industrial rock music.

Concerts were unique events (including used film screenings), and through the charismatic frontman - Beefheart (Mark Seremak) - towards the performances, no one has remained indifferent.

The group was founded in the late 1984 on initiative of Albert von Knutke and Beefhart Wahehe. Ojciec Wahehe soon joined them, Marski Wahehe and John Fullen (replaced by Hwa Rank Wahehe). At this time, they did first recording. The band toured in 1985-87 (changing it's name to Wahehe Divagazione Universal). In 1987, the project splitted and Knutke and Beefhart, who still did performed, took changed name Wahehe Divagazione Universale. In 1989, under the name Wahehe Revival (Hwa Rang, Ojciec i Marski), their last official performance took place.

Their tracks appeared on Transcription (BN.exp. Krakow, 1989), Transcription Vol. 2 (BN.exp. Krakow, 1989), Polish Road, Vol. 1 & 2 (Organic, 1989) compilations.

Impulsy Stetoskopu released  the series The Archive Of Polish Industrial Music Presents: WAHEHE "Dywagacje Uniwersalne". The vast majority of the recordings listed, saw the light of day since they were recorded in 1985-1989, for the first time.

Release includes 4 x CD-R, metal box + insert in full color of old pictures. Edition of 120 copies.

A propósito del anterior post dedicado a la cassette "Telefonie" del grupo holandés De Fabriek, os propongo la escucha y descarga de este recopilatorio cuyo argumento también corre alrededor del teléfono. Dicha compilación está compuesta por nombres célebres de la experimentación sonora y de la electrónica industrial, como Mnomized, Siegmar Friecke, Palo Alto, Dsip, Brume... Todo ello en una cassette C-62 (???) editada por el sello italiano Old Europa Cafe en 1991. Os recomiendo su escucha.

Se trata de una serie de collages compuestos con voces teléfonicas, conversaciones, sonidos de distintas procedencias, samplers y sonido electrónico. Toda una experiencia sonora dividida en dos partes sin título de 23 minutos cada una, de las que no hay información en ninguna parte de la carátula.

Mario Marzidovsek - Alter Minimal 2 (Marzidovshek Minimal Laboratorium - MML 016, BloedvlagProdukt, cass, 198?)

Mario Marzidovšek was musician, artist, producer and concert organiser in northeast Slovenia and one of the pioneers of Yugoslavian D.I.Y. industrial/noise scene. In the 80's he participated in several alternative actions, including "mail art" (he wrote over 600 letters per year to his correspondents) and the establishment of the first private (then illegal), non-commercial label in the former Yugoslavia called Minimal Laboratorium; anetwork through which he communicated with numerous artists and producers across the world.
From period of 1984 to 1988, he issued more than 50 cassettes with different types of music, among which prevailed electronics and alternative rock but he had started recording earlier. 

Despite his work being partly influenced by "Neue Slowenische Kunst" and Laibach activities and other alternative groups and artists, his electronic musical work is original and unique, influenced by the German kraut rock and various other experimental composers.

Even the conditions Mario has lived in - like Slovenska Bistrica, professional work at chemical industry, didn't stopped him to be radical and productive. On the contrary, it was an essential path for his creativity.

Although the tapes were bad reproduction quality due to poor technical capabilities, he kept sending them to various addresses comprising the former Yugoslavia, Eastern and Western Europe, US, etc...

He has published many works of his music and collaboration with other musicians from Europe and the United States. He combined received tapes with his music or was sending his recorded tapes to associates for issuing purposes. At last, he appeared in over hundred compilations and released compilations on which appears compositions from home-taping, sound poetry, punk, rock, industrial, experimental, noise... 

Mario Marzidovšek's work unites global and local production.

Seguimos dando un repaso al grupo Holandés De Fabriek con esta soberbia cassette. Se trata de una C-10 producida en 1980, una de las primeras cintas del grupo, que en aquellos años se prodigaba con cintas de escasa duración. El sonido es 100% industrial, minimalista pero bastante asimilable, no es para nada de lo menos accesible del grupo.

Os recomiendo su escucha.

Se supone que esta cassette venía acompañada de varias postales, fotografías y otros elementos gráficos, pero por desgracia me la han hecho llegar sin todo ello, por lo tanto agradeceremos a quien disponga del material gráfico escaneado, que nos lo haga llegar para ofrecer esta obra lo más completa posible.

En 1986, De Fabriek y The Klinik reunificaron en un mismo vinilo sendos trabajos. Por un lado el magnífico Melting Close de The Klinik, y por el lado de De Fabriek crearon para la ocasión el "Platanen" que ocupa toda la cara B del disco. Industrial de fácil asimilación, contundentes percusiones, ritmos muy trabajados y alta tecnología por todos lados conforman este discazo que todo buen aficionado a la electrónica underground debería tener, o al menos escuchar.

JORGE MARREDO - DIKR (GRUPPO UNGIDO OU#20) (2014)

El reciente trabajo del artista Jorge Marredo va mucho más allá de los conceptos "música", "sonido", "arte", etc... Yo lo definiría como una experiencia por la que debe pasar todo ser vivo antes de morir, o al menos todo ser vivo dotado de oídos.

DIKR es un trabajo que marca un punto de inflexión en la carrera del artista extremeño, que deja atrás la experimentación sonora para demostrarnos que puede integrarse en otros escenarios sonoros, más repetitivos y secuenciales al más puro estilo de viejas escuelas sónicas estadounidenses, aunque sin dejar de añadirle el toque "marrédico" que lo caracteriza.

Constituido por dos temas de 18 minutos, DIKR nos mete en un universo sonoro del que es prácticamente imposible salir hasta el final, como en las viejas novelas de Christie o Allan Poe, manteniendo en vilo al oyente haciéndolo viajar por un sinfín de paisajes sin apenas darse cuenta. Ese "repetitivismo" tan bien trabajado hace que viajes sin enterarte y es ahí donde radica la majestuosidad y el mérito de este trabajo de Marredo.

En el primer tema damos un largo paseo de la mano de claras influencias y de nombres tan sobresalientes como Terry Riley, pero el "marredismo" domina la situación para que la cosa no se desmadre. En el segundo tema nos sumergimos en aquellas viejas melodías repetitivas de David Borden y su impresionante "Mother Mallard's Portable Masterpiece Company", pero otra vez está presente Marredo dándole su toque personal.

En resumen, DIKR es un disco que me ha dejado una profunda huella y que puedo catalogar sin temor a equivocarme como uno de los mejores álbumes que he escuchado en los últimos años.

Me declaro "marredista" hasta la médula.

Ahora os toca a vosotros escucharlo y sacar vuestras propias conclusiones, pero eso sí:

Among other Cripure S.A. (6?) cassettes is Qui Vivra Verra on c-60 on his R.R. Products (4 tracks, 1987-88) label and French Organic (final, 1988/89?).

Born in 1964 in the Alps, Ladzi Galaï (Thierry Galai - his real name) began playing music at the age of seven, by studying piano and trumpet. At the age of thirteen, in 1977, he discovered Punk Rock, and became interested in various rock’n’roll and underground music. He bought a bass guitar at sixteen, with the wages from his first job, and began writing songs; playing in his first band, Ambassade, in 1982, then with Screamin’ Dolls, in 1984. These bands were both short-lived. By listening to Anglo-Saxon music with lyrics, he learned better English than he did at school, where he studied general mechanics, and later during his years of exchange within the mail-art network. For two years, he took part in a fanzine with pals, formed several tentative bands, and in 1985, set up the DIY / home-music tape label: R.R.Products, initially meaning « Réseau Rapetou », then « Rythm & Rut ». Also, he formed a new band: Cripure S.A. The amateur tape label was active until 1992. He also published two graphic fanzines in 1988 , each of 100 pages, accompanied by compilation tapes on the topics: Disco Totem & Folie Graph. In 1987, there were two more new bands: Dirty Husbands, and Hermaphrodisiak. In 1989, more new bands: Ted & les Terriens, and No No No. In 1993, his first CD was released and he unveiled a new band: Ultime Atome, who played his famous « guitar symphony » live. Having used the pseudonym « Cripure » (amongst others), played in some bands and published his texts in several magazines, in 1997 he adopted the nickname Ladzi, for the « karaoké » show of a solo album presented as Dada Punk’n’Roll . In 1997, Ladzi published a book of aphorisms, illustrated by eleven designers. He began serious translation from English to French in 1995. In 1999, he put out another solo CD called Foutue Poupée, with titles composed at the end of the eighties, played with various bands, and recorded post-1992. In 1999, he recorded another album, unreleased, with Cécile Jarsaillon of the Suprêmes Dindes on vocals. In November 2001, the guitarist / composer Toshiyuki Hiraoka, who had previously come over from Japan to join NO NO NO in 1990, returned to France, and they composed a dozen songs together, whose lyrics were finally completed in 2004. (Two of these were originally written in english, and the version of one can be listened to in the live video on the Glop! website). This album project was called Fuckita® and the lyrics can be seen here. In 2003, the name of the Association was in use again for the French edition of Craig O’ Hara’s book, The Philosophy of Punk : Rytrut Editions was born. In 2004, other people joined his new musical project, forming a band again. Ladzi chose to use the name Glop, after the puppy characther from Pifou comic created by Roger Mas which takes him back to his childhood.. Nowadays, he’s fully occupied with Rytrut Editions’ projects.

Human Telex - Egy Szám Nagyon Hangos (demos, 1983-1987)

Human Telex was an unknown Hungarian new wave/synth/technopop band in the middle 80s formed in 1986, out of Tejbezrí (active between 1983 and 1985 - split up) that released only one EP Kudarc / Tűzoltó U. 25. in 1985. 
Here are Human Telex demos. I think. Dated 1983-1987. Or, precisely said, there are Tejbezri songs within it as well. I guess the two bands should be in a way considered as the same.

A Feast of Hearing is an audio arts sampler radio series form Cassette Mythos.

Around 1990, Robin James edited and produced a book called “Cassette Mythos” which documented the cassette and home taping scene. It included features and interviews of musicians, articles by many home tapers/ underground artists and was generally a guide to the entire cassette movement. DEDICADO A MI QUERIDO AMIGO CARLOS DAL VERME.

Estamos ante un documento histórico, nada más y nada menos que el concierto que dieron los Portion Control el 18 de enero de 1985 en el Pabellón Cubierto de Granada, grabado con una grabadora de cassette desde el público por mi amigo granadino Carlos Dal Verme. Una cinta de casi treinta años que ha sobrevivido al tiempo de una manera impresionante, habida cuenta de la gran calidad del sonido.

El amigo Carlos me dijo hace unos meses que tenía esta cassette y que la ripearía para que pudiéramos compartirla en éste, vuestro blog. Ante la minusvalía física y psíquica de la pletina de Carlos Dal Verme, decidió entregarme este documento para que yo pudiera ripearlo con mis medios y finalmente hoy os puedo ofrecer el resultado final.

También informaros que esta grabación es la primera referencia del nuevo sello WET DREAMS RECORDS, que en breve se pondrá en marcha.
