Orchestra Of Skin & Bone – Orchestra Of Skin & Bone (1986, Major Records – MRLP 003, LP, Album) FLAC
IN MEMORY OF "JOHN MURPHY"
Orchestra of Skin and Bone were an Australian post-punk band which were active from 1984 to 1986. The band's core members were Ollie Olsen, Marie Hoy and John Murphy.
They released a self-titled album in 1986, with the line-up of Olsen on lead vocals and guitar, Murphy on drums, Arnie Hanna on guitar, Marie Hoy on keyboards (ex-Thrust and the Cunts), David Hoy on cello, Tom Hoy on saxophone, Lochie Kirkwood on vocals and saxophone, Dugald McKenzie on vocals and harmonica, James Rogers on trumpet and Peter Scully on guitar.
They also released cassettes on underground noise labels. According to Australian musicologist, Ian McFarlane, the ensemble "proved incomprehensible to local audiences and rarely played live." A track from the mini-LP, "Sometimes", was later covered by Olsen's project with Michael Hutchence, Max Q.

PREMATURE EJACULATIONS LOS ANGELES, CA @ ZOMBIE ZOO 1987-12-26 / Bootleg
As a little participation for DARYA´S wonderful releases from Premature Ejaculations!
A live boot from 1987. The quality is ok but not realy good. A historical document..

PREMATURE EJACULATION 1981-1998
The roots of Premature Ejaculation stretch as far back as 1981, when while on hiatus from Christian Death, Rozz Williams and Ron Athey began experimenting with tape loops and noise. From the onset, live events were performance art presentations that often left the audience disgusted and horrified. While the intent was to shock and throw out the rules of convention - it wasn't long before venues refused to book Premature Ejaculation.
After Rozz shelved Christian Death in 1985, he returned to the project, and continued to pursue tape manipulation and manufacturing layers of noise. He teamed himself with Chuck Collison and soon began releasing material through the independant label, Happiest Tapes on Earth, and eventually again performing live shows.
Despite Rozz's hectic schedule with touring and recording for various projects, he'd often return to Premature Ejaculation for a series of recordings, releases and performancnces. He and Chuck continued to work together into the mid-1990's.
The posthumous release "Wound Of Exit" exhibited the range Premature Ejaculation had developed over 15 years of recordings; from tape loops of household appliances to rich, full textures of sound and electronic samples.
Rozz's final recordings were completed by Chuck Collison for the Nico B. film, "Pig".
In 2009, several recordings were purchased by John Collins that contained unreleased noise material that spanned Rozz's career. As John set about laying down the foundations to bring these recordings to light, it was discovered that Ron Marrs contained an additional eight cassettes of unreleased material. Collectively, the recordings became, "Rozz Williams: The Lost Recordings". After being painstakingly remastered and the artwork restored to it's original designs - the material began to surface in 2010. The releases will continue into at least 2012...ensuring years of new discoveries for Rozz's fans.

HEGEMONIA-1999-Arabian Nights (PSM MUSIC CD) (MP3 320 Kbps)
Quizás el proyecto menos conocido de ERNESTO AVELINO y
ROBERTO LOBO (ETIKA MAKINAL, GOODBYE, FASENUOVA).
Un solo disco, publicado en
1998 por PSM MUSIC, y al que ni siquiera los tags de Bandcamp remiten cuando
pinchas en los nombres de los asturianos. No lo entiendo, está a
la altura de lo mejor de sus grabaciones posteriores con FASENUOVA y , a día de
hoy, no aparece ni en las ediciones digitales (que son muchas) de PSM MUSIC. Sí
en otras plataformas, por suerte. En cambio, las copias físicas del CD sólo
están disponibles en el mercado de segunda mano, algunas de ellas sin
desprecintar siquiera, lo que indica el escaso interés que despertó este disco en
su momento.
O sea, todo dentro de la normalidad a la que estamos acostumbrados.
Simplemente, es lo que hay.
Editado más de 10 años después de la defunción de ETIKA
MAKINAL y un par de años antes que las
auto-ediciones en CDr de GOODBYE, el proyecto antesala de los más ‘’exitosos’’
FASENUOVA. Sonido áspero, percusivo y retumbante, si a esto se le considera
noise (recurrente etiqueta) o cualquier otra cosa lo dejo en vuestros oídos,
pero los míos aprecian una línea de continuidad con todo lo que vino después. Y
a algo con tantos matices sonoros yo no le llamo noise.
