EliminarRipped as wav and than made a flac. The tape is nearly 25 years old. When you think this is a fake, ok no prob.
Maybe you can do it better. Wait for great releases from you.
Next rip for STAHLFABRIK is the fantastic (in my oppinon) tape from Gregorian George on irre tapes (from my old friend Matthias Lang).

See thouse cuts and artifacts... yeah.
I can further test it with better software but i dont think its necessary since it failed the first basic eye test and further aucdtect. You sure you know what you are doing?
I understand that the tape is old but i cant see how that effects rip quality. In whatever condition it should not make thouse cuts and something similar to artifacts in the spectrogram. The condition itself only effects overall sound quality not the rip quality.
If you say what you say, you did something wrong somewhere. The tracks start and end good...
I did my share of rips in my time and i only rip to 24/96 since everything else seems like a waste of time. from 32bit flow to 24 that is.
Still using libFLAC 1.2.1...
cmon this prog have the same bugs like others..tell me eac ripps (secure) are mp3..made for perfect recordings in cd or studio quality but not for those kind of rips...a lot of disc made with home equipment are mp3 for this..studio mastering is expensive

EliminarBuy today a lot of releases on Bandcamp. Nearly 90% says cutoff with audiochecker...also lossy?
EliminarLoad as flac...I know that a lot of producers works with mp3 and release that as cd...but are Bandcamp a house of liars?
There is a reason why its called a WEB release.
EliminarAudiochecker and many tools are just bad (namely audiochecker and lossless audio checker), your best way of seeing fake lossless is by actually learning about audio and its frequency limits.
I have found that Spectro and Spek are quite a simple but good tools that help you a lot in gaining numbers and intel.
I really dont have a clue what was the Anon above trying to say about eac and mp3. Makes no sence.
I use for spectros normaly Adobe Audition but Spek looks good. I heard Spectro is full of bugs and the ten minute limitation is nothing for long tracks.
