FREAK ANIMAL es un sello creado por Mikko Aspa, un músico y vocalista finlandés que ha trabajado en una variedad de géneros, que incluyen power electronics, black metal, noisecore, punk, Oi!, RAC, sludge, grindcore, industrial, harsh noise, etc... Fundador de Freak Animal Records, Northern Heritage, Lolita Slavinder Records, Institute Of Paraphilia Studies and Industrial Recollections. Dirige la tienda de discos Sarvilevyt. Publica la revista Special Interests y solía publicar el zine Nyktofobia. A veces ha utilizado el alias de Aaron Spelling.

En esta compilación en formato CD que acompañaba, en una edición limitada de 550 copias, al número 11 del fanzine Freak Animal Magazine, reúne a grandes nombres del industrial/noise: CON-DOM, MERZBOW, THE GREY WOLVES, STIMBOX, TAINT, FLUTTER, ABFALL, etc...
