Halo Svevo is the alias of German electronic musician Manfred Chmielewski who was releasing several tape albums, vinyl and CD recordings in the worldwide active home-taping-scene mainly between the late 80's and late 90's. His tape releases were published on labels in Germany, Italy, Portugal, France and Japan.
Main influences were Britain's early 80's electronic music scene (who were of course influenced by 70's german electronic pioneers Kraftwerk, Can and Neu themselves ;-), soundscaping artists, soundtracks by Simon Fisher Turner and industrial music such as Coil, Nurse With Wound or Current 93. After a long time pausing period from 1996 to 2010 he changed his genre into a more ambient, glitchy and musique concréte-style and is currently releasing new material on various netlabels.

Hope you enjoy it..
