Monotonik / Goljak Nightmare - Demo Recordings 1981-1983 (not on label, cass)

Goran Jermić is born in 1956 in Zagreb, Croatia and shows affection towards music and electronics from an early age which resulted the project Monotonik (1980/81) when he was only 16 years old...
He was also making home-made synths and oscillators. Goljak Nightmare is also him but few years later.
Jermić stopped creating music as the 80s passed by until the end of 90s when he devotes himself to music again. He changes his name into Monofonik in 2004 which sound is a bit different, alternative electro pop as he call it..

The cassette I am sharing doesn't have original artwork (so I made one) and consists of more than just two tracks (it's actually compilation of demo recordings by Jermić's projects) but they are lost. A pity!

Enrico Piva - Late November Dream (EGK - EGK 022, C60, 1987)

Italian artist specifically from Brescia who left us amazing sound works. It's a real pleasure for me to have opportunity to share this cassette, thanks to Francisco Lopez, which was released 1987 on EGK, Spanish Esplendor Geometrico's label.

Enrico Piva (1956-2002) was one of the original investigators in the panorama of Italian independent music of the eighties dressed in the full figure of the outsider and, creating musique concrète, conceptual, field recording, minimalism electronic, post-industrial noise and has published twenty audiocasettes for various Italian and international labels between 1981 and 1990.
For example as Unit 06 contributing on TRAXTRA compilation by mail-art TRAX platform for exchange and collaboration across great geographical distances, held by Vittore Baroni,  Piermario Ciani (1951-2006) and  Massimo Giacon from project Spirocheta Pergoli from 1981-1987. All interested in closer look of  TRAX's concept - CLICK HERE or HERE.

On the basis of artistic studies, Piva produced drawings, lithographs, research photography (scotography) and video, as well as literary texts, including unpublished experimental text "Piscine sommerse ed altre immersioni" which is among other works related to Enrico Piva presented HERE (sadly only in Italian!).

MAURIZIO BIANCHI - NH HN (GRAFIKA AIRLINES ‎– GRA 5, CASSETTE 1981) (RE-UPLOAD IN FLAC)

El Collecionista De Poliedros (Juan Escolano) is creating sounds by electronic and non-electronic

intruments, the final product are harsh industrial sounds and contemporary environments.

His music is essentially random and improvised with the help of

electronics that is #1 and the most important factor as well as utilization of

noise and different objects of daily use that may cause noise mainly

based on the experiments carried out by the Italian and Russian Futurists and later by Dada movement

Juan has been in fields such as collage, painting, mail art, sculpture, graphics,

music fanzines, books of expression, etc...

Cacofonías Egipánicas is recorded live by mic stand with very basic and simple systems.

JAVIER HERNANDO - QUEBRANTOS (CONV ‎– CNV61, 4 × File, MP3, 320 kbps) (2010)

Various - Informátor 00II (not on label, cassette compilation, C90, 1989)

I came across this compilation on some blog which name I can't recall at the moment with desire to post it on Youtube but briefly after posting few tracks, I was advised by Michael that the track index is messed up so with respect to him for sending me the correct tape, the compilation titled Informator 00II can be spread to the world.
The contributing projects with tracks recorded from '84-'89 are
A: Odvážná Srdce, Tristan 43, Sidonová, Veselí Filištínové, Benedikt, A-64, Trpák, M.I.O.S., Brusičova Parta, Biskup & Klapper, Keilwerth, Maxa
B: Stredni Evropa, Vlajka, Sidonova, Bongo Muž Hlava, Mondrian, A-64, Pastorek, Queuer, Osvobozená Domácnost, Maxa
It was distributed by Corrosive Tapes - Belgian tape label begun circa 1986 run by dr pIOtr AAkOUn.
From May 1987 Piotr got in touch with the czech industrial scene - among them musician Tonda Hlavka who supplied him with tapes for distribution beyond the iron curtain.
The label stopped activity in early 1992.
Several tapes were published later by Slavek Kwi using the Corrosive Tapes moniker.
In 2013 the label got re-activated in collaboration with complasToc (Mathieu Delvaux).

SIEGMAR FRICKE - 1987 (Hahamandad - HA012, C60, 1990 | DIGITAL REMASTER 2014)

Our "disko boy" Siegmar Fricke remastered another old cassette solely for WET DREAMS. (Thank you Siegmar!)
"1987" was recorded on magnetophon with the use of Yamaha keyboard and Yamaha sampler, furthermore, originally released on Hahamandad label held by Dutch Messy and Amanda Man "Amy" in 1987 on C-60.
Also worth noting is that Hahamandad label has hosted a big tape festival in 1990 in Ternuezen where then-22-year-old Siegmar had his debut which you can see below....

You can download this video HERE on official PHARMAKUSTIK Vimeo.

Although the track on the video is dated 1990 (not available on the 1987 tape), it's still important documentation which testifies the gathering of great underground musicians like factor X, Beurk, M.I.Dotan, Bram D, Dva Met Dva Nichts & PDM, Nostalgie Eternelle, From Nursery To Misery, Das Freie Orchester, Marilyn's Army, Grey Wolves, Contact T.B.D., Harald 'Sack' Ziegler, Beequeen, Selfs Without Shells and Dark Star performing and selling their tapes...

Funny or not, I surely couldn't resist moving my feet to the beat! Again!

DOWNLOAD.

Sociedades En Tetra Brik & Graphices Artis - INTITULADO (T.B.R. inédit,198?)

A pearl I received few days ago, a collaboration tape, though never issued, between Biel Oliver (SETB) and Miguel Angel Julian (GA). Unfortunately, Biel can not remember accurate year of the cassette, but is confident that it's the end of the eighties.

Jake Meginsky - L'appel Du Vide (Open Mouth - OM37, LP, 2014)

Jake Meginsky
l’appel du vide Open Mouth LP OM37 Subterranean, nearly-inaudible restraint and rushing, stuttering throbbing rule the night on this new record. Its electric moods are so resolutely alien they suggest worlds unknown rather than create them. Irregular heartbeat thumps are set against high end atmospheres explored in microscopic detail. Haunting overlays of tones fluctuate and tremble, and not one moment feels forced. The music is meticulously constructed and consistently surprising, twisting and sparkling. The electronics spin away, shooting off into bizarre and unexpected territory, and all the while Meginsky guides them with a benevolent, confident, endlessly fascinated hand. To hear him tell it, the record is “a document of me looking for the experience I have not yet had, and maybe will never have. This is where the title comes from. The pull of the void.” Natural phenomena like fog or mist tend to render the environment and one’s ability to see it nearly impossible, and if you tilt your head back like you have a nosebleed there is always the fear that the sun might set sooner. When you stop in a secret place there is no need to talk. These are streets full of sullen languid violence and grey phantoms. Edition of 300. Cover art by Bill Nace. Play at 45 and play loud. Matt Krefting Holyoke, MA May 2014

available @ Open Mouth Records

Stefano Barban - Visozone (Bestattungsinstitut, cass, 1990)

Ruiz) which tapes you can listen here and here, Abra Had Abra, Lvnvs or Lunus (both with Devis Granziera) and Spin Box (with Womb).

SCH - WHITE MUSIC: Two Ways To German Art & Work Discipline (Slušaj Najglasnije!, cass, 1992)

WHITE MUSIC: Two Ways To German Art & Work Discipline is the third official studio album by SCH (an abbreviation for "Schizophrenia") from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Although released in 1992 on the Zagreb independent label Slušaj Najglasnije! (Listen Loudest!) by Zdenko Franjić, the album was produced and recorded during 1990. It was the first harsh-noise album in ex-Yugoslavia. The recording line-up was Teno (guitar/bass/synth/vocals/noises) and Samir Bjelanović (drums).
Sonically, the album depicts what may be best described as the emotive states of those certain living material forms that had survived the total (nuclear) war.
The record is a logical progression and culmination of the sound and "trip" initiated on the SCH tape, and further developed on During Wartime. White Music brings to a close an important phase in the band's life. Following White Music, SCH will shun the theme of war. As ever, the band was a step ahead of the times and there was no need to hang around in "explored" territories. These, the band would leave behind for others, those who watched the band with blank expressions at the time when all this was current and "real" for us."

Borghesia - Live at Novi Rock '83 (unofficial cassette, 1983)

Live at Novi Rock in Ljubljana (Križanke), 1983 is Borghesia's first perfromance.
With guest musicians from Ljubljana: group Marcus 5, bassist Janij Hacete and guitarist Borut K. who play a recorded rhythmic base derived into multimedia performance.

The recordings on the cassette are a bit damaged (Divlja Horda, Pokušaj) but there is no other existing media with the same material.

Oh, I would love to mention that Abbildungen Variete at the same concert convincingly left everyone speechless doing some weird ritual performance.. Ah, pity, this was never captured. However, there is one  audio documentation of  their "Ishodišče subjekta" track.
