Aparte de la generosa donación que me ha hecho recientemente el músico JAVIER CINCA, un servidor, ávido siempre de poseer el mayor número posible de cassettes artesanales de la época dorada del medio musical electrónico underground, ha adquirido una serie de cintas a través de mi amigo y abastecedor ANDRÉS NOARBE. Empezaremos por esta joyita:

De la célebre serie "USA EL AUTOREVERSE" del sello GRAND MAL EDITIONS, nos viene esta cassette de 1 minuto con dos mini-piezas del grandioso LUIS MESA que deberían ser escuchadas ininterrumpidamente hasta la saciedad en un aparato reproductor de cassettes provisto con el sistema Auto-Reverse. A esta serie también se sumaron nombres tan ilustres como ANTON IGNORANT, RAFAEL FLORES, FRANCISCO LÓPEZ, FRANCISCO FELIPE. Una joya.

Mario Ruiz, de nombre artístico Sorollsec (Ruidoseco en catalán), era 32 Guajar's Faragüit. La suya era una ritualidad rítmica, repetitiva y drónica, estructuralmente cercana a la de Esplendor Geométrico y los SPK más contundentes, aunque formalmente tratada con sonoridades menos metálicas y un mayor número de acotaciones melódicas que lo distanciaban eones del salvajismo tribal de los de Arturo Lanz. 32 Guajar's Faragüit (Ortega y Cassette, 1983), Artilogía vocevérsica (Ortega y Cassette, 1984), Crom 48 (Sorollsec, 1985), Programarrax (Esplendor Geométrico Kassettes, 1986) y Theobromanía (1986), su contribución a la serie C-1 de Grand Mal, son, junto a sus tres cortes en 4 Grupos de Barcelona, los testigos de un talento del que poco se supo a posteriori. Una auténtica pena.

La cassette que nos ocupa es una masterpiece de texturas sónicas, ambientes tribales, industriales y paisajes abstractos, cuidadosamente organizado para ofrecer sensaciones únicas al oyente. Sensaciones sonoras, la base del sonido de 32 Guajar's Faragüit.

One of the more comprehensive of the earlier tape samplers that eMpTy released, back when eMpTy was still conceived of as the experimental label of Doc Wör Mirran and not really a punk label. This series of eight, one hour long cassette samplers featured some of the more renowned industrial and experimental artists of the late 1980s, making it one of the highlights of the cassette scene of that time. The cover was conceived as a puzzle, with the picture first complete when all eight covers where put together in a particular order. All tapes limited to 100 copies only.
